Part-time Medical Lab Technologist

Position Summary

The Part Time Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for Sunday routine operations of the medical lab and monitor the supply chain of essential commodities. Oversee Infection Prevention and Control (IPC).

Key Responsibilities

Perform specialized laboratory tests
Implement quality management system, safety procedures & IPC
Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual reports
Maintain lab test statistics & records
Plan & participate in laboratory research
Supervise maintenance & cleanliness of lab facilities
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Diploma in Medical/Health Laboratory Sciences (Govt-recognized)
Registered with Health Laboratory Practitioners' Council + active license
Excellent Swahili & English (written/oral)
Computer applications: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet
Based in Dar es Salaam (desired)
